This unique work was written in one day, November 26, 1998, in the vein of P.D.Q, Bach. Its premiere featured the composer dressed up in a duck hunter’s outfit, and uses every duck theme that I could think of, along with a few swan themes and other pieces thrown in for good measure. The work is dedicated to Joy Rachor, at whose home my wife and I partook of a delicious Thanksgiving repast.
